Michelle Delle Vergin has owned bookshops in regional areas for 17 years. Within 6 months of starting Booktique Merimbula in 2009, she and her husband Mark secured the café next door. A move to Wangaratta in 2014 prompted the sale of the shop, and in 2017 Booktique Wangaratta was up and running. In 2024 she identified a gap in the market in Albury, and Booktique Albury opened in April that year.
